Hi WAMUGgers, Wonder if any one has read about Motorola's plan to 'spin off' its chip production section? I heard a very brief statement on this matter on news radio last week, but have not seen anything written about it.
If this news is correct, that would explain why there has been virtually no progress with the G4 chips for quite some time. Also the move to IBM's PPC 970 (G5) by Apple. Would be interested to see how this develops. Regards, Philippe C
