Sorry, not to answer your question.... but, in reference to IE on Mac and
Safari as browsers... I have found the following compatibility point...

We had experienced many issues with Mac's and our web site. It was after a site update, our customers experienced many 'strange' page display problems
(in fact we still have these issues).

We are PC based. We purchased a Mac and when 'playing' around on IE and Safari, etc, I suddenly noticed that the "problems" were not evident on Safari. Through more trial and error testing of the code, we found that
the <SPAN> tags being used were not liked by IE or Netscape on the Mac,
although Safari seems fine with them?

So, we are looking at now being able to change the <SPAN>'s to <DIV>'s as a
quick fix (which does seem to work).
The code is still a mess (sigh!), but we are moving to a new platform,
which I have tested with the Mac and it all seems fine.

*** Any reliable stats on percentage of Mac users who use Safari.
Currently, it is not included in our Test plans for Browsers. I need some evidence to include it, but would not know where to Mac-look for it ? Any
tips ?

Moved to OSX a week ago, which allowed me to start using Safari .

By comparison Internet Explorer is a SNAIL !

Still assessing whether it has full compatibility.
