Mac OS 9 Apps Quitting

Hi,

I am running Panther 10.3.2 and all of my Mac OS 9 apps just won't 
open. They try, but close straight away. As does Classic. This didn't 
originally happen a couple of weeks ago when I got my machine. What 
have I done.
Should I reinstall the Mac OS 9 Apps into the Mac OS 9 Apps Folder, not 
just into the Hard Drive.
