From memory... (I still have the first model), the 2000 (?next) model's
hand-writing interpretation/analysis *wasn't* as good as the original
Newton? I just remember something about it at the time they came out ?
Mark S.
The 130 was a definite improvement on the 100, and I believe the 2000
was better than that again, it used Rosetta, which is the bases for
the Ink handwriting recognition in Mac OS X (write Rosetta Rosetta
Rosetta and see what it says :)
Of course, the press only ever remembered the 100.

Rumours abound at the moment about a company doing a marketing survey
of ex-Newton owners to see what was wrong with it and if it's worth
resurrecting (IMHO, yes!)
Have fun,
Shay
