Thank you to all those who responded to my request to check out the map reading. You have given me the confidence to now approach the relevant department and ask them to make access across platform.

For those of you who have been following the topic, the reason you are unable to access the site is in simple terms is the page and the application is founded on a PC software i.e. Mapinfo. You will find this application at most of the local govt. It was designed initially for in house use but someone has been trying to make further mileage by selling it as intermaps. The in-house products is call intramaps and only works on a PC. In fact its a quite a good package but when you try an use it for the wider public I think other thinking like discrimination needs to be considered.

Safari and IE latest versions won't open that link for me. OS 10.3.3

I have tried to access maps through the City of Melville site, the
doorway being the address below.
Having had no success I clicked on the link referring to java
requirements. The only systems listed were darkside.
Would anyone care to check in case I am overlooking something?
I am running an iMac with OS10.2 and IE 5.2
