Thanks Shay and Robert for your replies.
I'm looking at setting it up for browsing and mail really. iCal and
maybe a small amount of iTunes songs would be good but I think that's
pushing it a little. I'd be using 10.2 with it.
I'm also considering buying a single processor G5 and setting up my
G4-400 in replace of the G3. If I do Daniel will be the first person I
talk to. I don't really like the way Apple doing the RAM and their
prices are a little higher than others. Is it possible to order it
without RAM?

Well, you can create an OS X boot CD, so you should be able to fit it
into 2Gb. Depends what you want to do with it really...
Have fun,
Shay
You would have better chance of fitting Jaguar in that size HD .
I partitioned a 9gig drive about 3.5/5.5
to run OS9.1 and OSX jaguar and had plenty of space to store my
records.
Panther is another story .
But why ever would you want to instal OSX on that small drive ??
Bob.
