Many thanks to those who have responded to my question re ADSL
modem/routers.
I've done some web searching and have come up with a shortlist. There's
some interesting reviews and comments around. Perhaps you might know of
others.
ADSL, ADSL2 and ADSL2+ (Incl) Compatible Modem/Routers
Billion 7402 2 yr warranty ADSL speed 8mbps to 30 with
ADSL2+ $190-250
Netgear DG834 (v2) 1 yr warranty don't know speeds$130 - $190
DLink 504T May not be here yet but is ADSL2 and 2+ compatible 8mbps
with adsl other unknown
Zyxel Prestige 660H ADSL2 speed 12, ADSL2+ speed 24
Other
Netcomm NB 5 looks good but is only usb and single ethernet. Perhaps
others are on their way.
