Hi All! Further to my dramas with my TiBook and audio output, it seems to be a problem with the audio driver that has been in 10.3.6, 10.3.7 and 10.3.8. I have a copy of the 10.3.5 audio.kext driver, and see how that goes.
If anyone else is having a drama with sound, please let me know! From what I can gather, it is also a problem on MDD G4s. Seeya Rod!
