All good ideas so far.

There is another that was hotly reviewed by a Life Science colleague which is "Stata" < http://www.stata.com/>. He said it blew away SPSS, SAS (JMP), & legacy applications like Statistica & Statview (may they rest in peace) in his turf and was great for epidemiology.

Not cheap, but there is a limited version.

Cheers,
Stephen

Hi,

Can anyone recommend any statistical software for use in bio-statistics and public health. I am running an OS9 machine and for some strange reason :) my uni doesn't think about the hoards of Apple users when setting software for
courses.

Thankyou for all your help.

Smiles
