So who's game to try it, once tigger bounces in?

Have had it installed for a while, since the beta. But really unless you're writing your own software to use it for your own computations it's not particularly useful, and installation is obviously a bit difficult as you've got to enter all the settings on each machine etc, and e-mail some guy at Stanford. I suspect XGrid is designed more for a local cluster of tightly integrated machines rather than an internet spanning collaborative effort.

Otherwise you're better off running boinc, which can devote your processor time to multiple causes of your choosing...
