One of my sons is considering becoming a switcher by purchasing a Mac Mini.
However, he would like to keep his old serial HP810C Deskjet printer.
Does anyone know whether it is possible to obtain a workable
solution for the Mini to talk to the HP?

It would cost more to buy a USB<->serial converter than to purchase a
new low-end HP inkjet like the HP3745 or 3845
