Hi, I've decided to give Microsoft PowerPoint a go, even though I would normally avoid it like the plague. Having done all the text for my presentation, I am now inserting the graphics. And there is a problem.
All my standard images are (and have for years been) in PDF. However, Microsoft software (unlike every other piece of software on the planet) has never liked using PDF. For instance, when I place my graphics into PowerPoint, all the PDFs are displayed with a (false) white background. The background of the PDF images should be displayed empty (i.e. the underlying objects should show through). Does anyone know what I can do to fix this? I have already checked that 'Fill' is set to 'No Fill' in PowerPoint. Transparency is not the answer either.
