Hi everyone
I have a problem Im not sure how to go about solving so Im hoping
some people who are really familiar with photoshop's insides maybe
able to help.
I want to calibrate a fixed focal length lens (300mm) on some objects
of known size (1m by 10 cm wide) at a number of distances from 100m
to 400m in 50m increments. I then want to use the calibration on
photos of other objects at similar distances and be able to do
measurements on them in photoshop as that would be more efficient
than swapping different programs. I envisage doing an overlay of a
grid or just measuring using the measuring tool.
I have done some web trawling and found a few sites that say that I
need to set the pixel size to the calibration distance but Im still
not clear if this is the way to go. Has someone got experience with
this side of photoshop ( Im using 7 on a G5 in 10.3)?
Many thanks
Chris
