Ack!!! S.M.A.R.T. Status = Failing

Guys,

Wondering if anyone has any advice. I noticed in Disk Utility that  
the hard disk on my Mac shows red. I checked it and lo and behold,  
S.M.A.R.T. status = Failing. Any advice with this? Or am I just in  
new hard drive land!?! (hoping not!)
