Hi folks.
I think this pertains more to initiatives worldwide, such as the "weee"
directive in the UK, where suppliers will shortly have to offer (and
receive!) an old computer, whenever they supplier a new computer.

That way, people aren't tempted to dump equipment straight into
landfill (or someone's garden verge). The directive also carries
information about how much dangerous chemicals are allowed in
computers.
And if you're not buying a new computer, you can pay a nominal fee to
have your old equipment picked up.

They take any make or model of computer, notebook, monitor, printer
or peripheral (the fools :)
