Hi. I was helping a friend set up her new iBook G4 which has 10.4.2 installed. She had already inadvertently installed Office Test Drive and had then installed her purchased copy of Office as well. Consequently, every time she tried opening a Word document the Test Drive version would attempt to start but stop as the trial period had expired.
I uninstalled both versions using the uninstaller included in Office and then reinstalled Office from scratch. Now, once a Word document is opened or during the opening of a PowerPoint document the following message is displayed: "An unexpected error occurred while trying to load the Microsoft Framework Library". There is only an OK button to click. The documents seem to be okay in that they display correctly. Does anyone know what is happening here and what I can do to fix things? Regards, Michael K Schmidt
