Hello list,
I am refreshing an iBook for a student friend of mine. You know the
scenario, arrives with a Medal of Honour DVD copy in the drive (and
its only a CD-RW) and she says, "I can't get the CD out and it
doesn't start up. Can you have a look for me?"
It was an interesting journey and after much wrestling with major
file structure errors (Disk utility was the best), it didn't even
have the capacity to complete a boot from diskwarrior CD. One thing
that took so long was the fact that it only has 128 MB RAM. So...
I'm looking for someone who can supply me with one 512 MB SO DIMM to
suit a 800MHz iBook (dual USB), preferably by the end of the week, oh
and it will have to be posted to Busselton,
