Google earth

I downloaded google earth (12.5mb) to my e-mac 10.4 but cannot open it. It
shows on the desktop as an HDD icon and on the icons at the bottom as a
globe. I can get the globe to bounce but nothing else. I have tried this
whole process with every variation I can think of.  Any one got any ideas?
