Hi Christian

The other thing you can also try as well, which sometimes work is to remove
the little PRAM battery inside the cube. You'd need to take the cube apart
to do this, but I don't think you should have any problems with that.
So disconnect everything, take the power out, remove the battery and leave
it for 10-15minutes or longer. Then pop it back in and see if that works.
I've had Firewire stop on a computer once and after doing that it all worked
fine again.
(Otherwise if it's something fried on the motherboard it may be cheaper to
look at a Firewire hub. But we'll be optimistic first! ;o)
