My version of Mail is Version 2.0.7 (746.2), running Tiger 10.4.5.
My preferences look exactly like this screen dump, except that it
says 'right away' instead of 'After one week.'
If the problem continues, I will change to one of the other
options to see if it makes any difference.
Cheers, and thanks,
Pat
At the bottom of the folder list on the LH side of Mail's window is
a button with a gear wheel icon. Clicking on this produces a menu.
Choose Get Info at the bottom of this menu and you will see a very
handy little utility which shows you any mail messages currently on
the Server. It also provides some very basic management tools,
including the ability to remove unwanted messages before you
download them.
