Calendar invites: Mac/Entourage -> Windows/Outlook

Is anyone aware of issues that would prevent a calendar invitation  
issued by Entourage 11.3.3 being received as a proper invite by an  
Outlook client?

Have a situation where an invite is being received as garbled text.
