Hi Rosie,

Forgive me if I'm stating the obvious but did you set-up iStat to show all
the fan info you want to see. There are two areas on the settings (click the
info button on the widget to bring up the settings) you want to check:

Under Sections: make sure that fans and temps are checked
Under Display: make sure all the fans and temperature locations are checked

For me that shows 3 fan speeds and 8 temperature readings

I'm surprised you are unhappy with the intel iMac - I would have thought
that it would out-perform an eMac in just about every area.
