After installing iTunes 7.6 a couple of days ago on my 1.8GHz G5 tower
I noticed periodic lag every time a song was switching.
I did a bit of searching on the net and found that people both on macs
and windows computers have been experiencing the same problem.
Just thought I'd do this email for a heads up to those who haven't yet
updated iTunes.
For those that have and are experiencing the same problem you can
revert to iTunes 7.5 by downloading the old 7.5 installer and deleting
iTunes
This required quitting iTunes helper with Activity Monitor (in
utilities) then restarting before using the installer. You'll also
need to rename your previous itunes library (most recently dated from
7.5) to match the name of your current library then replace it.
