Hi Adrian,

What Model G4 PowerBook were you trying to install Leopard on?

The first G4 PowerBook that has a fast enough processor speed for Leopard (867 MHz) was the PowerBook G4 1GHz/867MHz "P88" introduced in November 2002.

Cheers,
Ronni

The final solution has been to revert to Tiger, not even the AppleCare Tech guys could figure it out after nearly 4 hours on the phone.

Ok,

Lets try this one:-

Boot into single user mode ( cmd + s ) at reboot

sh /etc/rc
passwd username
reboot

This will reset the password associated to username.

But it will also remove keychains passwords.

Cheers!
