I've been getting an alien object with a slightly different 'computer icon' in the 'shared' column of my 'Finder' Its name-ID is mac0022411fcdab. Its been visible on my machine when I've taken the iMac offline and turned off the modem router to all the other machines in our family ethernet network. Plus I've made sure Bluetooth and Airport were off. Any suggestions what I'm looking at please.
