i'm sure your dv camera has an a/v out, there are screens available
you can connect to your camera, this way may allow you to use the
larger screen during the shooting & replay
just look for screens as used for backsit screens in
cars.....reversing screens & the like

I'm coaching a group of 50 year old and up rowers. My digital video
camera
uses Firewire. That's good for when I connect to my Mac, but I want
to be
able to connect the video camera to a portable DVD player (Dick
Smith) so
while we're still out on the water I can show the crew what they're
doing.
Aging eyes and failing eyesight means that more than half the crew
can't see
the screen on the camera.
The problem is that the portable DVD player has AV out (rca single
plug to
white, red, yellow rca minplugs) and usb port in. Is a cable
available that
I can plug into the video camera (small firewire connector) and the
portable
DVD player (standard sized usb port).
Alternatively the camera has red white yellow AV out. Would it be
possible
to modify the AV out port on the DVD player so it takes AV in?
Thanks,
Michael Hawkins.
