I remember them well Reg :-)

And not knowing when the elephant in the room (Apple) is likely to open a store, plus Myers, DJs and other retailers selling macs makes life difficult. You either have to specialise like Artref and Team Digital, be a big chain like nextbyte, or be beyond the major retail arc like Macworx. Being in the city with extraordinary rents and low margin products is an incredibly hard way to make a dollar.

Sad. They were sponsors of our Showcases up here in Geraldton several years ago.

A friend of mine rang them in a bit of a panic to see where his iMac that they have had in the repair shop for months. The story is that the repair shop is still working, all stock has been sold off (I gather in bulk) and they , obviously, arnt selling anything.

They had moved from Mt Hawthorn to Osborne Park not long ago. I believe they are still open though, just being run by the receivers.

Subject: digilife goes in to receivership?

Just checking the Digilife webside I see that the city store is closing
and the banner of the site says "Receivers and Managers Appointed"

bugger....
