Both my husband's and my iphones have done this a few times. We have
found that we needed to restore the iphone. It certainly solved the
problem. It also deletes all apps which then need to be reinstalled.
Have a FANTASTIC day!

Strangley enough, I bought one of them around the time the first
iPhone played up.
However I have not used it yet because of all the problems.

Hi Stephen and WAMUG folks.
Do you have any case or screen-films or protective jacket (or
similar) on your iPhone? If so, do the problems occur without any
of these coverings on the iPhone?
Cheers,
Derek

Subject: iPhone problems !!
Hi folks,
I am interested to know if anyone else has had iPhone problems ?
Sometimes the touch screen simply did not respond.
Most of the time the screen went blank as I received a call or as I
made a call.
Consequently I could not use hands free or even hang up after the
call.
Each time I had to turn off the phone and restart.
