I haven't been able to use ebay recently and their helpline has suggested I upgrade my Java. My present version seems to be Java 1.4.2 and the latest 1.6.13. However when I try to upgrade, Java refers me to my software update page and that doesn't mention any Java updates

Hi Richard,

What Operating System are you running ... OS X 10.5.7 or ?
If your Software Update application is not showing any security updates or any updates, there are none for your system.

Dick

try it another way !

Please tell us what version OSX you are running ?

and does software update tell you it has anything for you ?

Sometimes you need to instal one update before it will tell you there is another !

Bob

Do you have Java enabled?
