You may remember my post about "Flip" last week & reply from Joe
He advises that he has bought one for me & I'm planning to come upto
Perth to pick up take him to lunch & reimmburse him for my new "Flip".
He also advised that some one from WAMUG had
agreed to pick him up from Air Port ! I had offered him a bed @ my
place but as I live nearly 2 hours from Perth that will not be much use
to him long term. I have just received the following from him

take you up on your offer. I have a small problem. I have been looking
for a flat or a room to rent in Perth. I am at the mercy of people I do
not know and am reluctant to rent a place that I have not seen or do I
know will be near public transportation. Do you have any friends in the
Perth area who could help me find a place. I am anticipating working in
the Pilbara after settling in. Any advice or help would be

I pass on to group & ask who ever agreed to meet him @ Airport to
please contact me direct so we can liase. I can't help with temp Perth
accomodationso & shall ask Joe for more specific details Arrival, Has He
a partner etc. & report back. Any suggestions appreciated but I'm very
gratefull for his spontaneous act of Generosity to my idle post as He
