Officially only Virgin and Vodafone support tethering here in
Australia without paying either an extra fee (Optus), or 'hacking' a
file on your iPhone (Telstra)
I know from personal experience that with Virgin, it works as per the
instructions supplied by Apple... apparently the same for Vodafone.
Optus charges an extra $9.99 a month to enable tethering and Telstra
don't even support it
