Not specifically a Mac question, but I'm using a Mac so hopefully it passes the test.
Has anyone ever used or seen the vertical bar, or pipe, on a keyboard used as part of an email address? I've just come across one, thinking it was a mistake, but a test email tells me that Apple Mail considered it valid, the SMTP server considered it valid, and it hasn't bounced.
I would have guessed you couldn't have such a character as part of an email address, but maybe you can. Imagine trying to communicate your email address to others over the phone?!!
