Its possible its a software issue so as gavin said try boot off the cd
by holding down the option key and selecting the cd to boot then you
can use disk utility from the drop down menu to try run a repair disk
or possibly do a reinstall.
If you cant get anywhere with if your welcome to bring it down to us
in south perth to check out for you

My macbookpro has overheated and will not boot up.

When it restarts the same error message appears to hold down the
