Hi Ronni,
Thanks for that - I'll store the info away 'in a safe spot' ready for when I change to snow leopard - which maybe some weeks away. Some other software I use has still to be cleared for SL compatibility by the suppliers.

     Cheers ... Clyde

Hi All,
I'm currently running Leopard on an Imac. I have a Canon Laser Shot LBP-1120 printer (with several spare cartridges). Canon do not have a Mac driver for this printer, and somehow I managed to get it working (I remember with some help from WAMUG group several years ago).

I can't remember the software that I used to get it working. So perhaps my initial question, how can I find out the software name. I think it is CAPT Print monitor.

The more difficult question is: Has anyone had experience with these drivers under Snow Leopard ? There is a similar unanswered question at ttp://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa? messageID=10214756

Hello Clyde,

Searching the Web I found this that could be helpful to you. It might be worth a try as it is "supposed" to work in Snow Leopard.
I can't verify that it does though.

"CAPT Printer Driver V3.00 for MacOSX"

If you do download it and install in OS X 10.6.1 Snow Leopard, one thing you should make sure is to delete the old printer configuration from the Print & Fax Preferences pane. Then to check whether the new driver is used open the print queue, click on the Printer Setup icon and on the General tab you’ll find the driver version (3.00 in case of the Snow Leopard drivers).
