Afternoon,

I am just chasing some advice, once again! I've sent so many WAMUG e-mails
recently!

At work we've got a staff member with a Lexmark x2530 printer. We are trying to
use it on a Mac OS X 10.5.8 MacBook Pro. This has been working previously but
stopped working and we've been unable to get it working again.

On the Lexmark website they've only got 10.6 drivers, no 10.5 anymore? (When we
attempt to install the 10.6 drivers it stops telling us of the difference.
Grr...)
There is already a printer driver located on the computer, we've also tried
re-installing off the supplied CD but when ever we try to print from any
program it crashes the program. As soon as we remove the printer from the
computer it removes the crashing issue.

As a possible solution we also reset the CUPS system via the GUI in System
Preferences to no avail.

If there is any thoughts its appreciated!

Thanks,

David Moyle
