Hi James, .opd is an OmniPage Document. Document created with OmniPage scanning, OCR, and page creation software; may contain images, text, and page layout information; saved in a proprietary format that can only be opened with OmniPage or OmniPage Professional software.
OmniPage was previously developed by ScanSoft, which is now part of Nuance Communications. OmniPage Pro X For Macintosh can open it, but it costs. <http://www.downloadatoz.com/business_directory/omnipage-pro-x-for-macintosh/> OpenOffice.org "might" be able to open the file, but I don't think you will be able to. It's FREE. <http://download.openoffice.org/index.html> <http://www.openoffice.org/> On 09/01/2010, at 10:16 AM, James / Hans Kunz wrote: > hi Peter > thanks for the reply, i just recognised that i chased you are for the wrong > thing, sorry > it's not odp it's opd ...just a slight difference in the file name extension > cheers James > > On 08/01/2010, at 17:02, Peter Meyer wrote: > >> >> Open Office presentation? >> http://www.fileinfo.com/extension/odp >> >> >> >> >> mouse peter meyer >> 0408 902349 >> pmo...@westnet.com.au >> >> >> >> >> On 08/01/2010, at 4:47 PM, James / Hans Kunz wrote: >> >>> does anyone knows about the .odp file (suggestion given to me was an app >>> with name omni /omny graffle????) >>> i'm just interested to convert a doc into a readable file >>> James >>> >>> >>> SAD Technic >>> Video Productions, Electronic repairs >>> U3 / 6 Chalkley Pl >>> Bayswater WA 6053 >>> +618 9370 5307,+618 6262 5707, 0414 421 132 >>> http://www.iinet.net.au/~saddas >>> skype: barleeway >>> over 40 years in electronics >>> -- The WA Macintosh User Group Mailing List -- Archives - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/archives.shtml> Guidelines - <http://www.wamug.org.au/mailinglist/guidelines.shtml> Unsubscribe - <mailto:wamug-unsubscr...@wamug.org.au>
