Hello,
I am running 10.5.8 on an iMac G5
All my AddressBook contacts have gone.
I realised things were going wrong when I was syncing my iPhone and
found no data in Address Book on my iMac. Now it's wiped all the
Contacts from the iPhone too. They were there this morning on the
iPhone. I made a change one contact on the iPhone so I know that was
fine at that time.
The iMac and the iPhone sync with MobileMe - gone from there too. :-(
I have Time Machine. :-)
I have gone to /Users/<yourusername>/Library/"Application
Support"/"Address Book and restored the Address Book folder from mid
yesterday afternoon when I know Address Book was working as I was
sending emails from Mail and Address Book was putting in names.
Still no data showing up :-(
Any tips?
Fortunately I DO have Entourage that I was using until a month or so
ago, so can resurrect my data from there if all else fails, but it's
out of date so is my least preferred option. Things are getting
desperate when I rely on Entourage!!
