Hi Adrian,

No, I haven't heard of anyone having this happen with this update yet. 
It did happen to some people using Aperture when they updated to Snow Leopard.
The only fix then seemed to be restoring 
/Library/Frameworks/PluginManager.framework with TimeMachine fixed the crash.

I've installed both the Software Updates "PluginManager 1.7.3 & Prokit Update 
5.1 without any issues with Final Cut Express (with also uses these updates).

Have you tried resarting your computer?
What version of Aperture 2 or 3 are you using?

If I hear of anyone else experiencing this and rectifying it I will post back.
