Yes. Same here Pete. I was given the option of allowing Dragon Dictate to access my address book and declined. That means I don't have the convenience of sending an email just by dictating the name of the person but I value privacy highly and decided to accept that shortcoming. I also chose not to let the software use my GPS location -- I could not see what value my location would add to dictation.
It is valuable knowledge that this is a server based product, the same as Google Voice, and as such one should be mindful that whatever is said can potentially be intercepted or stored indefinitely!
