Hi all, in case anyone else was curious, I resolved my issue here from
below. As expected a trivial fix. One of my kids I suspect had
inadvertently dragged the widget to sit 'behind' the Dock so it was
hidden. It made a temporary appearance when Weatherzone had a gale wind
warning which results in a pop up window sitting above the widget - this
is what I saw to locate it. if I tried to drag it up, from behind the
dock, I would end up launching the app is was sitting behind.

The solution, shift the dock to the left side of screen momentarily,
drag the widget back up on screen, reposition the dock back to the
bottom position. Problem solvered.

Thanks for everyones suggestions.

Regards

Peter...

Hi again, my issue is specifically about how to get the widget back to
the desktop after whizzing it away with the 4 finger swipe on the mouse
pad. The widget is visible in compressed imagery when swiped away, but I
can't retrieve it to the desktop in its fullness of yore. The loss of it
I don't believe is associated with the OS upgrade.

Perhaps I could uninstall and reinstall as a sledgehammer approach - but
I don't know how to do that either - sorry.

Regards

Peter.

The Weatherzone Weather tracker that sits on the desktop disappeared
when I upgraded the OS. No sign of an upgrade yet!

I lost my Weather Vane (free) when the OS recently was upgraded. After a

Hi folks, I installed the weatherzone widget 6 months ago (the Mac
version) onto my macbook with SL and find it very useful. I have also
recently learned the four finger swipe command on the mousepad to "go to
desktop". So now when I swipe down (towards oneself) I see the widget as
one of the panels, and when I select it with the mouse, it darts off to
the dock. I can't seem to get the widget back onto the main desktop.
I've tried quitting Weatherzone Tracker, rebooting the Macbook all to no
avail. I also bet there is a trivial fix for this too. Can anyone
provide me a fix for this please?

Thanks.

Peter..
