Good afternoon all, My ageing 17" MacBook Pro is slowing down significantly i.e. taking up to 5 minutes to boot up and about a minute to open the system preferences and between 60 seconds to open Pages and 90 seconds for Word for the first time in a secession. I have tried all the usual tricks like Repairing permissions, DiskWarrior and TechTools Deluxe but none have made any difference. Is it possible that the Hard Drive is dying or something?
