Hi Rob, Yes I, like most Apple followers, am waiting with great anticipation for the announcement of the new MacBooks. Light Peak is not a certainty for this release but it would be a wonderful new feature. I have advised a friend to hold off buying a MacBook Air for two more weeks so that he can compare it with the new MacBooks and see which he prefers.
