Hi Eugene, I think it is certainly good advice to check out the modem warrantee as suggested by Daniel, but there is a possibility that you will be disappointed. Some warranties do not cover damage caused by power spikes unless you have a surge protector correctly installed. Not trying to be negative but thought I would warn you of the possibility.
