Hi Ray,

I have only ever used free OCR products that come bundled with scanners so far,
so I can't give a personal recommendation, but I read with interest the review
that Brian provided of ABBYY Fine Reader Express. I just wanted to point out
that if you bring up the Mac App Store and enter the search term "OCR", the
result is eleven programs that includes ABBYY Fine Reader. The price range is
$18 to $160 -- with ABBYY costing $150. ABBYY appears to cost $100 from the web
site. I am not sure how this is possible as I thought the terms of the App
Store required that the cost be the same or less than the cost on linked web
pages.

Cheers,
Carlo
