Folks, I have a problem with another MacBook pro 13 inch purchased end of June from Dick Smith's.
It had Snow Leopard as bought. From the Apple AUS website, Lion was offered as download as a free purchase ( this info came from the Apple website). The laptop worked for two weeks. Today a further message appeared from automatic software updater. Did "show details" and accepted all on offer. Then asked to do re-start and now on start-up a message appears: "No bootable device. Insert Boot disk and press any key." Since this was a download there is no disk Any help welcome!
