Hacker finds iPhone's 'secret' panorama camera mode

A hacker has discovered that iPhones running the iOS 5 operating systems have a
hidden panoramic camera mode, the Daily Mail has reported.
In news that could delight photography-loving iPhone users but infuriate Apple,
hacker Conrad Kramer has found the hidden mode which will help users click
continuous photos while panning the camera from left to right.

"So, I found out how to enable Panorama is the iOS Camera app. Set the key
'EnableFirebreak' to YES in com.apple.mobileslideshow.plist," Kramer tweeted on
Wednesday.

Several other hackers have reportedly found the hidden mode too.

However, it's a function that requires the phone to be jailbroken and isn't
officially ready for use as Apple is understood to be testing it, the Daily
Mail reports.

Jailbreaking is a way to bypass Apple security to use apps not available on
iTunes.

Apple discourages jailbreaking its devices and says it can "severely degrade
user experience".
