Hi Severin,

Your MacBook would be around 2007 model?
Three years is a good life for the battery, and 300 cycles is the upper limit 
of what Apple suggests a battery should perform really well for your model MB

But it is not showing  "Check Battery" yet; so you don't have to replace it 
just yet, unless you want longer between charging times.
