Hi Daniel,

Yes, I agree that in theory the printer should work exactly as you say; the 
same as it does in Windows.
But sometimes it is not that easy to setup to always use the Windows drivers, 
it reverts to default & trys to use the Mac drivers (which Tim mentions don't 
work properly in OS X).

We require more info on the HP Printer, model number & driver version etc, 
currently used in what version of Windows? Then check if that model does work 
correctly in Parallels Desktop using the drivers installed in Windows VM.

As we know Windows is strange at the best of times... Very strange :-)
