Just one of the reasons I always like to have at least 2 browsers available.
Sometimes it may be down to websites using non-standard code which breaks more or less gracefully on different browsers. Sometimes it could be due to browser add-ons interfering. I recently had a similar experience in reverse. I tend to use Firefox as my default, with add-ons to strip out extraneous crap from sites like SMH but recently, when using the Commsec site I found that share buy/sell actions would not work - everything else on the site was working fine and I could input the order - right up to the "confirm" button - which wouldn't work. Safari, on the other hand worked just fine. Now, I dare say that if I was to play around with Firefox and switch extensions/add-on on & off, I might solve the problem - however, when you are trying to sell some shares at a good price, you just want something that works! Other times Safari has problems and Firefox is fine. Give yourself at least two options, I say ;o) Cheers Neil -- Neil R.
