Hello fellow WAMUGgers, Well we made it through our second attempt at the AGM and I sincerely thank those members who battled parking and did some cross county walking in order to attend. (Okay, so it was only across the oval but it was getting dark!!! ) The committee members of 2013 were all willing to stand again and were re-elected. Peter Hinchliffe, although remaining on the committee, has taken a well earned rest as our President.
Peter has been President of WAMUG for as long as I have been a member (4 years) and I am not sure for how many more years before that, and I understand, has been a part of WAMUG since its inception. I would like to thank Peter, as I am sure all of us would, for the work he has done as President and will continue to do for WAMUG. As I said earlier, Peter will still be a member of the committee and an active member of the List, which is really fabulous because as the newly elected President I am going to be calling on his expertise from time to time.
